Resident Services Intern - IMGN Communities

At IMGN Communities, we partner with affordable housing communities across the country to bring supportive services, community events, and resource access to residents. We believe in the power of connection, creativity, and compassion—and we’re looking for an intern who shares that passion.

Position Summary:
We’re seeking a motivated, community-minded Resident Services Intern to support our Resident Services team. This intern will assist with identifying and verifying local resources, helping coordinate on-site events and activities, and supporting various initiatives that serve residents in our communities. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in social services, nonprofit work, or affordable housing—and someone who enjoys making a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and verify local resources (nonprofits, social services, food programs, etc.) for affordable housing properties nationwide
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and organizing community events and activities
  • Help develop creative, engaging ideas for resident engagement
  • Support communication efforts, including creating flyers, calendars, and social media content (Canva skills a plus!)
  • Use our CRM system to support communication with residents, track outreach and engagement, and assist with some account management
  • Collaborate with Resident Coordinators and other staff to support resident services goals
  • Take on special projects and administrative tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Interest or background in social services, community engagement, nonprofits, or affordable housing
  • Strong research, communication, and organization skills
  • Comfortable interacting with a diverse range of people
  • Creative thinker with a can-do attitude
  • Spanish-speaking or bilingual skills are a big plus
  • Canva or basic design/social media skills are a plus
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn CRM systems (we’ll train you!)
  • Reliable, responsive, and ready to learn

Internship Details:

  • 15–20 hours/week (flexible scheduling)
  • Remote, with occasional in-person opportunities (depending on location)
  • Hourly compensation
  • Start date: Flexible, with potential to extend
